I have had a career, in a care and support role, that spans over 25 years, and I have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
When working with the elderly and younger adults, you need to develop relationships and trust with the clients, based on confidentiality, integrity, honesty, compassion, empathy, sensitivity, and a positive attitude.
You also need to possess a genuine interest in the welfare of the people you provide care and support to, and should never make assumptions about them.
